Marking 10 years since the first Plastic Free July

2021 marks ten years since ‘Plastic Free July’ started out with the founder Rebecca Prince-Ruiz avoiding plastic for a month. It is now a global initiative encouraging millions of people to move away from reliance on single-use plastic. Last July saw millions of people taking part; reducing plastic at home, making things from scratch, gardening, using what they have, and only shopping when needed. While some take on a full challenge to avoid single use plastic throughout the month, for many it is a reminder to keep looking at how to reduce their plastic footprint and develop some new habits. To encourage local involvement, The Refill Larder is offering 10% off both in-store and online throughout July.
