The Refill Larder
Plastic-free store in Teddington and Online
For people looking to reduce the amount of plastic they take home in their weekly shop, The Refill Larder sells affordable dry goods, bathroom and cleaning products in bulk as well as lots of plastic-free swaps for the home.
Located on Teddington High Street, the store is within the florist Gardenia, 122 High Street, TW11. It is the first plastic-free store in the Borough of Richmond.
The dry goods section includes organic store cupboard essentials such as rices, pastas, cereals, grains, nuts and seeds.
There is also a dedicated bathroom section selling cruelty-free, vegan shampoos, soaps, deodorants and hand soap.
Cleaning cupboards can benefit from a plastic-free makeover with refillable washing-up liquid, rinse aid, fabric softener and laundry detergent available.
Our online store has a carefully selected range of bathroom, household and lifestyle products. They are all helpful for avoiding single use plastics and made by companies that think about sustainability and have an ethical approach.
If you use our online shop and you can get free postage on orders over £30, just enter the discount code FREEPOST at the checkout (usually delivered within 3-5 working days).
We'll give you the option of having gift packaging (a clean cardboard box wrapped in lovely sustainable yarn) or for us to reuse one of our supplier’s boxes, minimising the overall environmental impact.
We love reusing, but wanted to give you all the chance to build your own gift sets and tailor them for the people you are buying for. Help spread a bit of sustainable joy!
Please do take a look at our special offers section for some great offers to help you cut down on waste.
There are lots of easy household swaps away from plastic, such as water bottles, reusable coffee cups, bamboo toothbrushes, children’s plates, cutlery, beeswax wraps and refill containers. The lifestyle products are available in-store and online.
The Refill Larder offers a modern take on the traditional shopping practice of buying by weight. Bring along your own containers, jars or cloth bags to the shop; we weigh them; fill them with as little, or as much of the loose products as you like and we weigh them again.
The store also sells refillable containers and has compostable paper bags for people without containers.
